Shetland Gradient Pack- 300g (11.6oz) hand dyed combed top.
Three different natural shades of Shetland wool, all dyed in the same colour way, spin them separately, and you've got a subtle gradient, or ply them together to make a beautifully subtle barber pole yarn.
You'll get 3 separate shades of Shetland (White, Fawn and Moorit), hand dyed in the same colour, approximately 100g of each base.
From fleeces graded by the experts at Jamieson & Smith. Sourced direct from the Shetland islands, using only sheep who live on the islands. Slightly coarser than the Superfine grade, but ideal for sweaters, and has terrific loft and bounce.
Hand dyed by me in my home in the Welsh hills using acid dyes, these give strong long lasting colours.
This fibre is hand dyed in small batches, where more than one pack is available they will have been dyed at the same time, using the same dye stock, but my dyeing technique produces packs with subtle variations, no two packs are ever identical. They will work fine in the same project however,
