 18.5 micron Merino from non-Mulsed flocks in either South Africa or South America. Superwash treated to resist felting, this fibre can be machine washed (washing a swatch in your machine is recommended).


Hand dyed by me in my home in the Welsh hills using acid dyes, these give strong, long lasting colours.

This fibre is hand dyed in small batches, where more than one braid is available they will have been dyed at the same time, using the same dye stock, but my dyeing technique produces braids with subtle variations, no two braids are ever identical, where multiple braids are available they are shown in the additional photographs. 

 

Established in 2011, Hilltop Cloud is run, and owned by Katie Weston. I live in rural mid-Wales and spend my days surrounded by colour, and beautiful fibre. I think I have the best job in the world and am really happy to be able to share what I create.
