A blend with a bit more tooth, the sort of thing you'd reach for to create things that are warm and durable rather than soft and cuddly. Three different welsh sheep breeds, Black Welsh Mountain, Lleyn and Radnor mixed with Kid Mohair for a bit of extra shine and strength.
Some also say that you can use mohair as a strengthener in yarns, so you might want to experiment with this durable blend to create a non-nylon, non-superwash sock yarn...
All the wool breeds in this blend are around 31 microns.

Hand dyed by me, in my home in the Welsh hills, using acid dyes. These give strong, long-lasting colours.
This fibre is hand dyed in small batches, where more than one braid is available they will have been dyed at the same time, using the same dye stock, but my dyeing technique produces braids with subtle variations, no two braids are ever identical.
This fibre will felt, cool hand wash only.
